Return or Exchange Policy

At Charleston Mahjong Club, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free return policy to make your experience as smooth as possible. Please review the following guidelines for returning items:

Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges:

  • A return must be initiated for Items purchased from Charleston Mahjong Club within 14 days from the date they are received.
  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • Please initiate your return/ exchange through our Return/Exchange Portal. Return Portal
  • You will need your order number and shipping zip code, email or phone number associated with your order. This can be found in your order confirmation email. If your item was a gift, chose return gift and you will be given the opportunity to exchange your gift for another item or store credit. 

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Customized or personalized items cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
  • Returns of items purchased through third-party sellers or retailers are not accepted.
  • Items received more then 14 days prior to the return being initiated will fall outside our returns window. The customer will need to contact us directly at info@charlestonmahjongclub.com for these issues. We cannot guarantee these items will be approved for return/ exchange. 

Return Process:

  • To initiate a return, please use our returns portal. You will need to enter your order number and zip code, cell number or email associated with the order.
  • Select the item/s you wish to return or exchange. 
  • Select the reason for the return/exchange. 
  • A shipping label will be generated for the return. See Return shipping section below for further explanation regarding shipping costs to the customer. 
  • Returns will be sent to: Waterside Business Logistic, Charleston Mahjong Club , Returns Department  5101 Coosaw Creek Blvd, Suite 110 North Charleston, SC 29420

Return Shipping:

  • For Returns: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part or if the items are defective or damaged upon arrival. See Damage or Defective Section below for further instructions for this type return. 
  • For Exchanges or Store Credit: Customers are responsible for 50% of the cost of return shipping, see section below for further information. 

Refund Process:

  • Once we receive the returned items and verify that they meet our return policy criteria, we will process your refund.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (if store credit or exchange were chosen, see below).
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If your items arrive damaged or defective, please initiate a return within 14 days of delivery to arrange for a replacement or refund. After this period, we’re unable to guarantee that any damage or defects were related to our handling or shipping and you will not be allowed to create a return without contacting us.
  • To initiate a return or replacement, please use the link available for returns in our returns portal. A picture of the damage or defect will be required along with a description.
  • If the return is approved as damaged or defective, we will waive the shipping fees for your return and you will receive a return shipping label. 
  • Once we receive the item/s and they meet our return criteria for damaged or defective items, we will initiate a refund or replacement. 

Exchanges and Store Credit:

  • We now offer exchanges OR store credit for items that qualify. Customers are allowed a 1 time exchange for another item or can chose store credit.
  • If you wish to exchange your purchase for a different item, please follow the return process outlined above and select the item you wish to exchange for. You may also chose store credit and use the credit immediately or at another time. 
  • Customers are only responsible for 50% of the cost of return shipping with these two options (unless the return is due to an error on our part or if the items are defective or damaged upon arrival).
  •  A label will be generated for the item/s you wish to exchange or return for store credit. Items must be placed in the mail within 14 days of initiating the exchange. The item/s will be charged to the credit card associated with the link account used during the exchange if they are not in transit within 14 days. 
  • An order will immediately be placed for the exchange item/s OR a store credit will be issued depending on your selection. (Again, items must be placed in the mail within 14 days or the card on file will be automatically charged.)

Charleston Mahjong Club reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above criteria or if the return is deemed to be fraudulent or abusive. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
